Universal Works and AllanBuxton.com present ‘Not Another Catwalk’ a stop motion animation to showcase Universal Works’ SS16 collection at LCM Allan Buxton is a Nottingham based creative who works in film, animation, web and graphic design. With seven years experience as an animator and cross discipline designer, Allan is steadily building a reputation for creating original and exciting pieces that toe the line between low-fi methods and refined aesthetics. Universal Works first worked with Allan in 2014 when producing two short films to release their Universal Works Workshop Denim line. They are excited to have teamed up again to make a crazy, animated, Universal Works runway fashion show. Walking into Allan’s studio is like stepping on set of scrapheap challenge so expect crazy contraptions and fishing line special effects mixed with slapstick humour and contemporary clothing.
