Phyllis Tuchman contributes articles and reviews to Artnews.com, Artforum, The New York Times, and other publications. She wrote the catalogue text for Weatherford’s 2017 solo show at the David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles. Mary Weatherford (b. 1963, Ojai, California) will be the subject of a retrospective exhibition, co-organized by Bill Arning and Ian Berry, that will open in February 2020 at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY; and travel to the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston in September 2020. Weatherford lives and works in Los Angeles. Please consider making a gift to the Evening Lecture Series.
