Here, you can see bits from a week in our lives here in Moscow, and what we generally do as well as how we spend our time. We are creatures of habit and we are simple people. We enjoy routine and structure, so what you see here in the video is quite literally how we start our day each morning. We eat a healthy breakfast followed by the gym, and every morning we make time to speak to our family back in Australia. One of the biggest struggles living here is being away from family. Having a routine — even a simple one — is the best way we’ve found to stay productive and focused while living in Russia. Especially while we can't engage in work (under our current visa). Structure and routine help to keep things steady and provides us with a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day. One a final note, I wanted to say how much we are enjoying creating videos for you. In return for sharing our lives, we receive such kind and thoughtful messages. I think I replied to a comment just the other day and said that it's your kind messages that make this worthwhile for us. While I am away from my family, it's like I have a community of people supporting me here. Every time I read the comments, I can’t help but smile. Sometimes I don’t even know how to respond properly — your words are so generous, and they stay with me. Such kind people you all are. I never want to let you down. That’s why Patrick and I try our best to create something meaningful, something that brings value — even when a video might be quieter or more reflective, like this one. What you see is a genuine piece of our life here. It matters to me that you enjoy it, because we truly enjoy sharing it with you. Thank you for your kindness, your encouragement, and your love.
