Saxophon-Orchester Dobbri mit Pfeif-Solo - Yearning, Foxtrot (Joe Burke), Beka 1925 (Germany) NOTE: Saxopohon-Orchester Dobbri was the nick of Otto Dobrindt's dance orchestra. Dobrindt was the professional Austrian conductor who led serious-music concerts in Wien and in Berlin of the 1920-30s. He also accompanied many finest European operatic singers, such as Richard Tauber, Joseph Schmidt, Ewa Bandrowska-Turska and many others. His activity as bandleader of one of the finest and hottest dance orchestras of the Roaring Twenties in Berlin, was rather his hobby than anything else. The activity of his dance ensamble was limited, hovever, to the recordings, and his public performances as "Saxophon Orchester Dobbri" has not been mentioned in the sources. Orchester Dobbri recorded also as Eric Harden, Robert Renard or Odeon-Tanz Orchestra.
