In the neighborhood, I discovered a mother cat carrying her kitten in her mouth. Curious, I followed them. The mother cat led her kitten through small paths and stairs, eventually arriving at a stairwell where kind people had provided comfortable beds, food, and water for stray cats. In the following days, I often visited the pair and noticed that although the kitten was initially very scared of humans, he later disappeared—possibly adopted by a caring person. Four months later, the mother cat had given birth to several more kittens.
