TF and TFT chicks are growing up fast now. It seems like each day, their fluffy down feathers are falling off & their sleek adult flight feathers are seen coming in strong. TF being 10 days older than TFT has more adult feathers but TFT has lost more of his downy fluff on the top of his head - really seen here in these profile closeups beginning at 08:09. It is this transition from a young chick to a juvenile chick that we are starting to see as this transformation continues over the next two months before they fledge in mid- summer.
