KHI C151s seen running on Late Night Slots on EWL [20/3/2025: Trainspotting + Joyrides]

Date filmed: 20 March 2025 Time of recording: between 1956hrs to 2139hrs In this video, we will be exploring some KHI C151s that made its way into Late Night Slots. Initially, all of these KHIs were supposed to be only on the usual non-LN slots. Due to 065/066 derailment incident back in September 2024 and 123/124 fault while on a Full Day Slot in October 2024, KHI C151s are running on a strict schedule, where they are only allowed to run on Weekday Peak Hours only. However, there are some exceptions made (e.g. unforeseen circumstances), and today seems to be one case. On 20th March 2025, an unknown delay occurred on the East-West Line at the Western End of the line. This caused some trains to be out of their usual slots and swapped to another slot, resulting in some KHIs to be slotted onto Late Night Slots. At first, I thought that they would just replace or swap the KHIs running on those Late Night Slots. But apparently, the KHIs still continued to run through the night, with Trainset 125/126 surviving all the way till the Last Train to Pasir Ris (something we have not seen in a long time). Seeing a KHI run on the East-West Line past 9pm+ is something you don't see everyday, especially those that are heading Eastbound towards Pasir Ris. A few KHIs also made its Late Night Run on the North-South Line too. So this video takes you through some of the KHIs that managed to run all the way till the end on some slots that don't even see KHI C151 running at all due to their restrictions (e.g. Run 115, Run 346, Run 353). Even Run 356 rarely sees a KHI running from dispatch. So sit back, relax and enjoy as we ride on the KHIs running on Late Night Slots. We might not know when this will happen again especially since they are planned to be retired by the Q3 of 2025, so this might just be a once in a blue moon opportunity to film them! There was 2 more KHIs that was also running the Late Night Hours, which were Trainsets 017/018 (as Run 126) and 091/092 (as Run 329), but I did not have time to chase after these 2 KHI trainsets.
