INCREDIBLE Modernized 1971 Otis Traction Elevators At The Hyatt Regency In Rosemont, IL

(08/06/2024) I’ve been waiting for a long time to film these elevators and now I have a chance to do so. These elevators were very fun to ride and each car has their own character to them. One car has a different floor pass pitch while another car goes a bit faster. These elevators used to have Lexan buttons I believe. The cabs used to look like the ones at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta but the cabs were refurbished with a stainless steel one which is the same one they used for the elevators at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. These do have Gearless motors no doubt about it. The revolving restaurant floor was unlocked at the time of filming so I got a chance to film up there. This is a MUST SEE if you are visiting the Chicago suburbs.
