작품 설명 [상주 생태학적 풍경] 안녕하세요, 김경숙입니다. 제 작품집 [도시, 생태학적 풍경]은 서울특별시를 비롯한 18개 도시의 전통 건물, 서민가옥, 현대의 초고층 아파트를 담고 있습니다. 각 도시의 건축 양상과 사람들의 삶을 엿볼 수 있습니다. 상주시는 전통 도시로, 경상도의 '경상'은 경주와 상주의 합성어입니다. 과거에는 뜻깊은 도시였으나 지금은 행정적으로 중요도가 낮아졌습니다. 상주시 동성동/남성동 도시재생뉴딜사업과 남성동/성동동을 촬영했으며, 작품 하단에는 할머니들의 모습을 담았습니다. 이들은 작은 땅이라도 무언가를 심으며 살아갑니다. 2018년 12월부터 2019년 1월까지 철거 예정지와 고가의 아파트를 조사하고 촬영했습니다. 초고가 아파트는 무양동 상주무양LH천년나무였습니다. 많은 분들이 빠르게 변모하는 도시 경관과 고층 아파트의 특징을 살펴볼 수 있기를 바랍니다. 감사합니다. [Sangju Ecological Landscape] Hello, I’m Kyungsook Kim. My book [Cities, their Ecological Landscape] features traditional buildings, modest houses, and modern high-rise apartments in 18 major cities across Korea, including Seoul Special City. It provides a glimpse into the architectural patterns of each city and the lives of the people living there. Sangju City is a traditional city, with the name 'Gyeongsang' in Gyeongsang Province derived from the combination of Gyeongju and Sangju. Historically significant, its administrative importance has diminished over time.** I photographed the urban regeneration New Deal project areas in Dongseong-dong/Namseong-dong and Namseong-dong/Seongdong-dong in Sangju City. The lower part of my works features elderly women, who make the city feel like home by planting something even in small patches of land. From December 2018 to January 2019, I investigated and photographed demolition sites and high-end apartments, such as Sangju Muyang LH Cheonnyeonnamu in Muyang-dong. I hope this book allows many people to reflect on the rapidly changing cityscapes and the characteristics of high-rise apartments. *Thank you and good reading.*
