Use of the ICU Liberation Bundle (A-F) has been shown to decrease delirium, coma, restraint use, transfer to skilled nursing facilities, readmissions, ICU and hospital lengths of stay, and mortality and significantly reduce healthcare costs. Use of the bundle has decreased dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic. This session at SCCM’s 2023 Critical Care Congress aimed to help ICU teams improve bundle compliance and performance during and after the pandemic.
