Favourite Flights #2 East Pattaya, Thailand

As I was rusty I had gone back to my usual practice of setting myself tasks to do each day. On this day I wanted to Fly from the soi I was living on; Soi Khao Noi, to Soi Nern Plub Wan where I had previously lived, was at one time pondering moving to. I'd been wanting to make this flight since moving back to East Pattaya a few months earlier, but as my Mini 4K had been a passenger for most of the trip, only coning out for n occasional flight, for Thailand had proved not very 'drone friendly' for a number of reasons, cables all over, too many officious 'Jobsworth' Security guards clueless about drones, apart form seeming not to like them...so it wasn't until I got to Pattaya, found a good fly zone at the semi-abandoned, pool near my flat. As was my practice in unfamiliar fly zones I took a short 'recce' flight to test conditions, then once happy conditions were good I embarked on my flight which I am pleased to say was a success. I did the same flight a few days later but lost signal, almost 2000 feet away; a real 'brown trousers moment'.
