Sorry audio was terrible - hopefully now fixed Now the work begins… Continuing on from last week, this is a video about a Category S (Structural) insurance write off Maserati Granturismo 4.2 V8 that I bought about a month ago now. I am trying to fix her at a price where I can afford to keep her. So all work must be done entirely by me as I can not afford to pay specialist mechanics or any mechanic for that matter. The first revelation I had after getting her home in the previous video was that to return her legally to the road, I need an inspection and that inspection is the MOT which is a standard annual test in the UK much like the TUV in Germany or controlle technique (CT) in France. This will make a lot of difference as I can hopefully get her back quickly and then have her as a running project, while a fix all the other issues. That is better for my sanity.
