This highline at the Aiguille de la Republique above the mer de glace definitely felt like the best highline in the world to me! Such a stunning rock tower with an intense exposure to all sides is rare to find! Great Job @dannymensik5730 for finding this potential Line long time ago! Thought I have to admit it’s hard to overlook this beautiful spot from about everywhere on the Mer de Glace ;) The approach is long, the climbing quite demanding and it took us two full on days to take this one down! First a long day up to the bivi just below the top of the tower. The second day was by no means shorter and we came back to Chamonix at 1am the following morning.
