One year ago, DJ Esco and Future dropped 'Project E.T.,' one of four major projects that Future was part of in 2016. 'Project E.T.' joined 'Purple Reign,' 'Evol' and, the Gucci Mane collaboration, 'Free Bricks 2: Zone 6 Edition.' Within a year, 'Project E.T.' had been certified double platinum by DatPiff, with over 700,000 downloads. A 16-track collection, DJ Esco put together beats from 808 Mafia, Southside, DJ Spinz, Zaytoven, Metro Boomin and more. The tape was stacked with features including Drake, Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug, Juicy J, Nef the Pharaoh, Rich Homie Quan and more. 'Project E.T.'s standout track was its only single “Too Much Sauce” featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The song featured Future and Lil Uzi Vert going off on DJ Esco and Zaytoven’s beat. “Too Much Sauce” charted at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. Last March it was certified gold by the RIAA. For many listeners, “Too Much Sauce” was their first introduction to Lil Uzi Vert. The one-of-a-kind artist used it to help fuel the massive run he’s currently on.
