02 Kawasaki praire 650 twin. The front cylinder was fouling plugs rather quickly. I did what ended up being many rounds of carb cleans and seemed to correct the problem, however it still wasn't right! It was backfiring out of the front carb, then after a couple more carb cleans, it was now backfiring out of the rear carb at a higher rpm. Then a few more carb cleans later and it seemed to not backfire yet it wouldn't rev high enough. After lots of agravation, I learned that it goes in limp mode if the belt light is on! I figured out how to reset the light and made tons of progress! The last step was installing the air box. Once the combination of the carbs being fully cleaned, belt light out and air box on....made all the difference in the world. Definitely running as it should now!
