It can be reached in summer either on foot (but this takes time) or by train. The train ride opens up wonderful views of Lake Thun as well as Lake Brienz. In the last section you can see the triumvirate "Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau" There is a mountain hotel on the Schnyige Platte.
