Rather than a simple adaptation, this project reimagines the poem as a cinematic emotional arc: from innocent bloom, to restless longing, to storm-filled separation, and finally to reflection and inner maturity. Blending traditional Chinese instruments such as guzheng and erhu with modern orchestration and contemporary production aesthetics, the music preserves classical poetic elegance while speaking to today’s audience.
