🤖 Our pre-engineers club just had an awesome second workshop with Sailboards Tarifa company, where we learned about the process of fiberglassing a polyester wingfoil shape! We covered locating key insets, precision cutting, even distribution, strength in reinforcement, absorbent solutions, vacuum sealing, and the curing process for consolidating the fiber layers and resin. Huge thanks to K-Tuin Goldenmac and the Kindred Project for supporting our young engineers in gaining real-world experience with technology in wing board making, and to Sergio and his team from Sailboards Tarifa for sharing their expertise with us. 🤖 Nuestro club de pre-ingenieros acaba de tener un segundo taller con la empresa Sailboards Tarifa, donde aprendimos sobre todo el proceso de laminado en una tabla de wingfoil. Durante este taller los alumnos aprendieron sobre la posición de elementos claves así como el corte de precisión, distribución uniforme, zonas de refuerzo, proceso de absorción del exceso de resina, sellado al vacío, concluyendo con la fase de curado para consolidar las capas de fibra y resina.
