#blade #handmade #steel Had a lot of trouble with this one and I'm a little disappointed in the bevels but overall, I'm still happy with how it turned out. Forging to shape is very new to me so that took longer than expected, and the tang was a bit troublesome. I also need some proper tongs for gripping flat stock and a better cut off tool. I hadn't done any bolsters on full tangs before this either so getting the fit up to look good was pretty difficult. The brass right next to wood honestly wasn't as big of an issue as I expected though. Using files made it a lot easier to remove material evenly. In the end, I learnt a lot from it and I'm looking forwards to the next project. Thank you all for watching and I hope my editing was bearable.
