Consider donating to GnuPG so that we can continue to support projects like SecureDrop (https://securedrop.org/), an open source whistle blower system. https://gnupg.org/donate In this interview, Noah Vesely, a software engineer at Freedom of the Press Foundation, talks about: his project, SecureDrop, a whistleblower submission platform, which is deployed by 20-something news organizations; why sources would use such a platform ("to protect their identity, because they're potentially exposing corrupt acts by maybe powerful people"); the adversaries that SecureDrop tries to defend against (police departments, corporations, government agencies with very good hacking capabilities); how SecureDrop uses GPG; and why GPG was the best choice (GPG allows sources to directly encrypt data they want to submit thereby providing end-to-end encryption).
