This video is for the education and inspiration of RE students. For the Philosophy and Ethics GCSE exam you need to know what a miracle is: A miracle is an event which seems to break a law of science and the only explanation seems to be God. Healing miracles- where someone is healed from an incurable disease or raised from the dead. Nature miracles- where things like the weather is changed, when Jesus calmed a storm. You need to know some Biblical miracles e.g. Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, Jesus feeding the Five Thousand, Jesus healing a paralytic. This of course is a modern miracle. Fabrice was playing for Bolton against Tottenham, when he had a heart attack. “What happened to me was really more than a miracle.” Muamba, a devout Christian, added: “I am walking proof of the power of prayer. For 78 minutes I was dead and even if I lived was expected to have suffered brain damage. But I’m very much alive and sitting here talking now. Someone up there was watching over me. On the morning of the game I prayed with my father and asked God to protect me — and he didn’t let me down.”
