In the quirky world of intelligence testing, Sir Francis Galton's wild idea to measure smarts via skull size fizzled out . But his legacy lived on through Raymond Cattell, who coined the term "mental test" and stressed on standardization. Cut to 1905: Alfred Binet & Theodore Simon cracked the code with the Binet-Simon Intelligence Scale. Lewis Terman tweaked it in 1916, creating the Stanford Binet Test. Meanwhile, war broke out, and Robert Yerks whipped up Army Alpha & Beta tests to size up soldiers. Fast forward to 1939: David Wechsler shook things up with the Wechsler-Bellevue Scale. By 1955, WAIS was born, getting a major revamp in 2008 with WAIS-IV. The evolution of IQ testing was a wild ride. #IntelligenceTesting #IQTests #BrainPower #MentalHealth #Psychology #HistoryOfIQ #BinetSimon #StanfordBinet #WechslerScale #WAIS #WISC #IntelligenceQuotient #Smart #CognitiveAbilities #MentalAptitude #LearningDisabilities #Gifted #Genius #Success #Failure #Education #Psychometrics #TestingTheLimits #MindGames #BrainTeasers #Innovation #Discovery #Science #History #PsychologyFacts #MindOverMatter #IntelligenceMatters #BrainDevelopment #CognitiveDevelopment #Learning #KnowledgeIsPower #IQ #Intelligence #FutureOfTesting #TestingTheFuture #MentalFitness #BrainFitness #SmartGoals #SuccessStories #FailureIsNotAnOption #GrowthMindset #SelfImprovement #PersonalGrowth #EmotionalIntelligence #SocialIntelligence #Adequacy #Inadequacy #Guilt #Regret #Motivation #Inspiration #SelfDiscovery #JourneyToSelf #KnowYourself
