For context, original Roland 909 units are highly sought-after, often commanding over $5,000 on the second-hand market. While drawing inspiration from artists like The Future Sound of London, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre and Brian Eno, whom incorporate electronic percussion and sampling in their work, my music has generally leaned toward a mellower style.
