Charlotte Raisin, a USC-bound senior at San Marcos High in California, produced eight goals, two assists and seven steals for the host Royals in a 17-11 girls water polo victory against Corona del Mar High of California in a CIF-Southern Section Open Division crossover match at Santa Barbara High. The Royals advanced to the Open Division semifinals for the first time in program history, in addition to securing a berth in the final four in any division for the first time since 2020 in Division 1. Raisin had five first-half goals to help San Marcos build a 9-4 halftime advantage. The Royals rebounded from a 16-8 pool-play loss Feb. 7 at Mater Dei to earn a semifinal rematch Feb. 18 against the Monarchs at William Woollett, Jr. Aquatic Center in Irvine. Raisin has accumulated 27 goals, six assists and 16 steals in four Open Division playoff contests this season, including a 10-goal performance Feb. 11 in a 15-9 triumph against Long Beach Wilson.
