This video was created following the United for Peace EU-UWC youth leadership forum 2024 in Nicosia, Cyprus, where over 230 delegates - including high school students, European Commission representatives, UWC International staff, ambassadors and educators, came together to promote leadership and intercultural understanding. In this interview, UWC International Executive Director, Faith Abiodun, sits down with EU Scholarship Programme for Cypriot Youth alumni, Deren Sanıvar and Maria Christodoulou, to share personal experiences and insights into how the scholarship has transformed lives. They discuss how education can break down barriers, open new doors and help young people build a more peaceful and inclusive future. This video was funded by the European Union.
