The 2026 Škoda Superb iV just received a major upgrade. The new plug-in hybrid combines a 1.5 TSI petrol engine producing 130 kW with an 85 kW electric motor for a total system output of 200 kW — making it the most powerful combustion-engine model in Škoda’s current lineup. Available exclusively for the Superb Hatch in Sportline and Laurin & Klement trims, the upgraded iV delivers 400 Nm of torque, 0–100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, a 225 km/h top speed, and an increased towing capacity of 2,000 kg. The 25.7 kWh battery remains unchanged, supporting AC charging up to 11 kW and DC fast charging up to 50 kW, with a 10–80% charge in about 26 minutes. With plug-in hybrids accounting for one in four Superb sales and more than 68,000 Superb iV models delivered since 2019, demand continues to grow.
