This historic film shows various silent footage of ejection systems tests on high speed rocket sled tracks. The film begins with footage of the test of an F-105 escape system at Hurricane Mesa in Utah. The next set of tests, ending at about 3:00, appear to show some kind of penetrating warhead being tested (likely at Holloman AFB). At 3:04 the warhead hits a concrete target and detonates. The next test, also apparently of a penetrating warhead, appears to go awry around 4:27 when the sled comes apart on the track. At 5:29 another test is shown, this one involving some of of drogue for a parachute or possibly for refueling. At 8:50 a solid rocket booster is test fired on a stand. At 9:14 another ejection seat test is shown, it's not clear what aircraft was being simulated. At 11:07 another warhead impact test is shown. At 11:15 a side view of the target shows the devastation that accompanies the impact.
