We're going to do a deep dive on the many differences and the similarities between the ever popular prescription Vitamin A treatment #retina or #tretinoin and #retinol. Retinol/Retin-A has been all the rage in the #skincare industry for the past few years and for good reason. The product is relatively inexpensive, has a plethora of hugely beneficial effects, and can be found naturally. Those things being said, the similarities between retinol and retin-a pretty much end there. Retin-A is a prescription product and as a result is only able to be purchased from a pharmacy. The active ingredient, tretinoin, in the product is almost always artificially synthesized and extremely overpowered. This overpowered tretinoin can cause many of the same side effects of another oft prescribed acne treatment, #accutane. From dry skin to redness all the way to scarring after completing the treatment, Retin-A can be helpful, but it's side effects almost create more problems down the line. Now Retinol is the non-prescription version of Retin-A and as a result is found in many many OTC products. Retinol is naturally found in many fruits, vegetables, and various other plants and has the exact same effects as Retin-A in a less severe and harmful package. In general, you're getting a product that catalyzes the skin's production of fresh, healthy skin but does so in a more gentle and less side effect inducing way. There is a lot of debate as to whether using retin-A or retinol is more effective and in our opinion, we would rather you use a natural product before trying out the pharmaceutical strength cousin. Just because something is touted as "more powerful" doesn't mean it is better for you. #vitaminA #naturalskincare #organicskincare #healthyskin #clearskin #noscarring #antiagingskincare #antiaging #lovetheskinyourein #healthyfaces ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For any skincare inquiries, you can reach us at: [email protected] Visit us online: www.peachesskincare.com Find our products here: www.peachesskincare.com/products Find our new product Squeezed here: https://tinyurl.com/yd7chlm4 Find us on social media!
