Restoring 'Don't Bite the Pavement' – 1980s Skateboard-Themed Kongman Clone!

In this video, I take on the restoration of not one, but TWO vintage Don’t Bite the Pavement games! If you’ve never seen this before, it’s essentially the same game as TOMY’s Kongman, but with a radical 1980s skateboard theme and some wild dayglow colors. Both of these had the usual broken gears, missing pieces, and years of grime, but one had a vital missing part that I had to completely remake from scratch. On top of that, I had to recreate some of the original graphics to bring these back to their former glory. Restoration Highlights: Gear Repairs: Fixing cracks and misalignments to get smooth movement. Missing Balloon Piece: Crafting a replacement to complete the gameplay. Vital Piece Fabrication: One game was missing an essential part, so I had to recreate it. Graphic Restoration: Reprinting and applying missing or damaged decals.
