In this video Sam Shamoun explains why is it Jesus emphasized the importance of the body and blood of christ to Christians in order to receive eternal life as he said. The bread Jesus came to give was the same one that was given to Moses in the wilderness by God in order to sustain them to keep living, but unlike that brand that makes them continue living on earth the bread Jesus gives us makes us continuously living in him spiritually. This was always held by the apostolic churches such as catholic and orthodox church as it being the literal body and blood of Christ, unlike Protestant churches that cannot agree if it is or if it’s not.
