Before I purchased these cymbals I looked on Youtube for demos so I could get an idea of how they sound. The main problem I found was most of the demos were professionally recorded and produced so I really could not get a "true life" sound of the cymbals. So I thought it would be a good idea to create a video using nothing more than my Iphone 12pro si you have a very honest sound of the cymbals played with the kit. For many years my cymbals have been mainly Paiste 2002', but I loved how the 900 colorsound looked so i made the plunge and purchased a set. Yes they are a little drier than the regular 900's, but I have to say that they sounded nice - especially the hats and the ride. Heavier crash cymbals seem to work better when hit a little harder and these heavy hats require a little more thwack to allow them to open up - really nice.
