A.K.A. Weird Al - Albuquerque but Miracle Machine slowly breaks the Spectravision using green eyes. Song belongs to Weird Al, video made by RWrappin. I just ruined it on VHS Facts about making this meme: Took my about 2 days total to make. Even the audio was fed through the headphone jack on the old TV into my camera. I tuned the TV's dials to ensure color accuracy before doing the VHS stuff. All the recorded tapes were made in SP mode (highest quality on VHS) so as to survive the insane number of generations. The copies came through composite video but the TV received the signal in RF (it has no composite input like it's some 50s TV or something). If I used a capture card to record from VHS, it would probably freak out at the later generations. Before putting it on VHS, I resized the original video in DaVinci Resolve to account for my TV's overscan (Miracle Machine's video wasn't made with safe areas in mind). My SLV-N81 VCR is the only device I trust to rewind tapes properly. The SLV-775HF and even my dedicated rewinder can be rough on tapes and even dislodged tape from the takeup reel of a 1988 Kodak cassette I have. Equipment and software: Zenith SC1327W (RF only TV, made October 1986, rescued from e-waste) Sony SLV-N81 (recording, playback to TV, in my household for 2 decades) Sony SLV-775HF (playback to recording SLV-N81, from my grandpa's house) Sony T120 tape (odd number generations) TDK T120 tape (even number generations) Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K (getting the video onto the tape) Blackmagic Media Express (software running the Intensity Pro) Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K (recording the TV) DaVinci Resolve (preparing footage for VHS, editing camera footage) Generation 1 by itself: • Weird Al - Albuquerque but on a Spectravis... Generation 29 by itself: • Weird Al - Albuquerque but it's just Gener...
