Meet Erika Lopez, APRN, WHNP-BC, who practices at Texas Robotic Surgery for Women alongside Dr. Devin Garza. Erika Veronica Lopez was born and raised in Texas. She has more than 10 years of nursing and advanced practice experience in the field of women's health, with a special interest in obstetrics, gynecology, breast oncology and surgery. Her approach to patient care is centered on education and empowerment, with a goal of delivering inclusive and culturally competent care to all patients. Erika earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Pan-American in Edinburg, Texas. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Women's Health, from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the National Certification Corporation and Spanish was her first language. Erika's professional affiliations include the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In her time away from the clinic, Erika has 2 "fur babies" that she spoils rotten and loves to take on hikes.
