10BASE-T1S Learn To Run – Supported by Embedded Software

This will evolve over the next decade to almost-all-IP-cars for some OEMs. 10BASE-T1S will foster the extension of Ethernet based IP communication to lower bandwidth networks like FlexRay and CAN. It is not enough to ensure the availability of the respective physical layer technologies, but the ecosystem for the successful introduction of 10BASE-T1S must be available. The industry will contribute its pieces to the big picture by performing evaluations of the technology by means of utilizing the #AUTOSAR workflow and ensuring the availability of production ready AUTOSAR MCAL drivers.
