Something a bit different this time. This is the first project I’ve ever fully taken on myself, directing, filming, and editing from start to finish. It was a huge learning experience, full of challenges but also super rewarding. From planning the shoot and making sure everyone looked their best on camera, to sorting through hours of footage, deciding on the right visual direction, and doing the VFX, was definitely something I wasn't used to. Working with live action footage was very different from what I do in my usual projects, but I wanted to bring my own editing style into it as well and make something that felt like my AMVs. A huge thank you to ‪‪@dis.cover_dancegroup‬ for their collaboration, their incredible performance and dedication, for trusting me with this vision, their patience (we shot this almost half a year ago!) and for pushing through such a demanding day of filming. We shot everything in just one day, and it must have been exhausting to perform so many times, yet they still delivered every take with full energy.
