Fender Champ clone DIY amplifier kit (Ampmaker WF-55)

I was working on a project recently and dug out the Amp Maker WF-55 kit and thought someone might find it useful to see what it sounds like. So, here you go. This amp is a modified Fender Champ circuit with a solid-state rectifier. I have modified mine further to include a negative feedback switch but that doesn’t feature in the video. Negative feedback is enabled, like the stock amp. The kit can be found at www.ampmaker.com/shop/wf-55/. The kit includes some very good build instructions which are very useful for the inexperienced builder. And amps don’t come any simpler that this. It’s a good starter. BTW, the guitar is a Hagstrom Super Viking, a nice ES-335 style guitar but with a 25.5 inch scale. It's also fitted with unpotted Bareknuckle Mule pickups to accentuate the acoustic woodiness of the instrument.
