This is a great idea if you do not plan to sew. For the base, I used a paper roll. I poured stones inside for stability, and filled the rest of the space with filler. I pasted it with felt. I also made hands and a hat from felt. I decorated them with flowers and twigs. The gnomes turned out very cute and fabulous.
