The machine was previously used in owner Marcus Harding's dad's butcher's shop and was an essential bit of kit. As a teenager, Marcus used to fill the sausages and became quite skilled at it. However, when the shop closed down, the machine was stored in the shed where it became rusty and dusty. Dom is eager to give the vintage machine a total overhaul and uses an electrolysis machine to clean the rusted internal parts. After reassembling and painting it, the machine is put to the test when Marcus shares his family recipe and everyone enjoys bangers for lunch. Mary Murphy from Stafford brought a unique and fragile historical archive that needed expert intervention from bookbinder Chris Shaw. The crumbling Edwardian album is full of treasured family postcards sent by Mary's grandma to her sisters, documenting her day-to-day life and adventures. Chris works meticulously by hand to display each of the cards in windowed pages and incorporates the original album covers with a new spine. Mary and her sister are thrilled with the results. Lastly, silversmith Brenton West transformed a cherished family heirloom that was a wedding gift over half a century ago. The hot water urn, known as a samovar, was one of the few belongings that Nawzad and Karen took with them when they fled Iraq with their young family. Brenton repaired and polished the dented and tarnished urn so it could be used again.
