Trip Report | Allegiant A320 Economy Class | Sarasota to Washington DC

Flying on an Allegiant A320 from Sarasota Bradenton to Dulles Airport. This was my first time departing out of The new Concourse A, which appeared to be exclusively for Allegiant (it is unclear to me if other airlines will use this concourse in the future). Boarded utilized outdoor ramps, providing nice ground views of our aircraft. We took off towards the northwest before heading over Sarasota bay, eventually turning northward towards Washington DC. This was a beautiful evening for flying with scenic views as we made our way across northern Florida before it became dark. Food was available but I did not end up purchasing any and opted to bring my own onboard. My only gripe was that the seat lacked proper padding, making it uncomfortable to sit for long durations, and was in a “pre-reclined” position. Legroom in the bulkhead was great.
