I need to get shit off my chest, so I wrote this song. I'm slowin down a little i know, but this won't take long. So dealing with my shit, sure as hell ain't easy. Can't just give up and throw in the towel, cause people need me. But I need them the most, people help me make it through. I really can't thank them enough for everything that they do. Been through some real tough shit, in the months just passed. I was holdin on my a thread, and didn't think I would last. It all got to a point where I was just wishin I was dead. I pulled a razor across my wrists and watched them as they bled. Those thoughts have passed, but the scars remain. They stay with me as a reminder that I've felt such pain. But you see all this experience has widened my education. And I live my life differently all thanks to my revelation Verse 2: Problems face me everyday, I'm struggling with every task, Just one day of ease seems like its too much to ask. I've had struggles in the past, both body and mind. Just another reason why my storys one of a kind. Being wheelchair bound sucks, but it's taught me a lot. I learned that people should be thankful for everything that they got. I see people playin footy, havin the time of their lives, And all I can do is sit and watch them play from the side. Need to use the elevator cause I can't take stairs. Need to use my car with mates, cause I can't take theirs. I can't find myself a girl, who wants a dude in a chair? I can even make kids cry, cause I'm different so they're scared. This ain't a guilt trip, I'm just getting my thoughts out. I mean shit can really suck for me there ain't no doubt. But everyones got problems, and for now I'm alright But I promise struggles won't stop me from living my life. Verse 3: Nothing is ever easy, see that's one thing I know. Everybody has pain, just some don't let it show.. We just gotta stay strong, make it through the hard times. Find an outlet for your pain, with me it's writing my rhymes. People listen to these lyrics, some just think it's a song. Well I'll tell you right now that those people are wrong. I didn't just make this for me, but I made it for you. As a way of showing that no matter what, you can make it through. I'm not tryna be a teacher, I'm just tryna fuel the fire. I'm not tryna be a preacher, I'm just hopin to inspire. I been to that hard place and I made it back, Just needa get your mind straight and get back on track. Times will get hard, I'm not sayin they won't But if you feel like giving up, then I'm tellin you, don't.
