2025 Kia EV5 Review: 3 Child Seats Fit! | BabyDrive

The Kia EV5 really surprised me - it's basically a shrunken EV9 that still manages to fit three child seats across the back row (though it's tight!). I tested this fully electric 5-seater SUV with all my usual family gear, and the boot space is brilliant. What I particularly love are the clever storage compartments under the boot floor - they're plastic-lined, so wet swimmers and muddy sports gear aren't an issue. The 180cm driver legroom with a rear-facing seat installed is impressive, and that flat floor means kids have proper foot space. The EV5 scored 5-star ANCAP with 86% for child occupancy. Range varies from 400-500km depending on spec, and I found it genuinely economical during testing. The only real downside is minimal rear storage - just small door bins and map pockets.
