I have been crafting for a long time and have been into a variety of different crafts over the years so I have accumulated a lot of stuff. This craft room is a work in progress and I will film an updated video when I have finished with my destashes and reorganized everything. My craft room is made up of Ikea Alex drawer units, Linnmon table tops, Billy bookcases, Kallax/Expedit 5x5 cubby shelf unit and Michaels Craft Store square storage cubes. I really like the Ikea and Michaels pieces because they are modular and can be reconfigured in a variety of ways when you move or redo your craft room. I made my desk into an L shape to give me the maximum workspace and even in my small 10'x12' room it works really well and still allows for lots of storage space and walking area. The only part of my craft room that was not filmed was my rolling carts. I took them out to make filming the whole room easier. I have two American Crafts project rolling carts and 3 of their regular 3 tiered rolling carts. I keep one of the 3 tiered rolling carts next to my favorite comfy chair in my living room with all of my Embroidery, Slow Stitch and hand sewing items in it. I am often found in the evenings sitting by the fireplace hand stitching/embroidering there. Having everything right next to me in my rolling cart makes it so easy to create. This is my first YouTube video. I have been isolated at home for the last 18 months due to Covid. I have some health issues and so I am not able to go out like everyone else is right now. Honestly the isolation is getting to me a bit so I started this YouTube cannel to hopefully find some people who like to craft as much as I do to chat with and share ideas.
