This rural cottage is on a 50 acre farm nestled between peaceful fields, woods, marsh and creek. Beautifully curated with comfort and efficiency in mind, the cottage exudes natural light and serene decor. Star-gazing is epic. The outdoor shower is heavenly. Have coffee in the morning, wine at night, and a book in hand by the fire pit with wood provided. Enjoy plenty of open space for exercising and exploring. RELAX The space This adorable tiny house is a rural oasis and a wonderful retreat on its own or as a base camp for exploring the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Featured as a unique home in Coastal Virginia Magazine, the cottage is 225 square feet, yet feels larger due to a cathedral ceiling, spacious full bath, and plenty of natural light. Sleeps three. Say goodbye to noise, traffic, and light pollution, and drink in wide open spaces and a big starry sky. Located on the Delmarva Peninsula, this quaint cabin is 1.5 hours north of Virginia Beach and Norfolk area, and 3 hours south of Washington DC. There is a main house on the property where the owner lives with her family. You can coincide your stay with a NASA rocket launch on Wallops Island (you can see them from here). Go biking, kayaking/paddle boarding, book a boat ride, or ditch any plans and simply breathe in the quiet country air. Star gazing is top notch.
