I had heard about Captain Ali in Fujairah but never fished with him before. On this trip I was lucky to get a slot that another angler failed to take up. I woke up at around 02:00 and drove about 2 hours to Khorfakkan Port in Fujairah. The trip started on schedule and we left while it was still dark so that by sunrise we would be in the first spot. We tried jigging without any success until we started noticing some surface activity. We switched to casting and landed 17 tuna and 12 bonito. I must say here I was using Captain Ali's casting gear and lure because mine were too big for the size of fish we were targeting. I was impressed and would recommend people in UAE to go with him.
