Written by Paul Williams and Roger Nichols, arranged by Chad Stuart and produced by Dan Dalton. The Peppermint Trolley Company's only Hot-100 entry was also in 1968, "Baby You Came Rollin' Across My Mind". For the follow-up, they chose this Paul Williams-Roger Nichols' song that was also featured on Paul's Reprise album, "Someday Man". The arranger credited is Chad Stuart of Chad & Jeremy fame. He also arranged the version on Paul Williams' album. Outside of a few arrangements for Chad & Jeremy, this would appear to have been a rare occurrence for him. Danny Faragher and Jimmy Faragher of The Peppermint Trolley Company went on to form Bones and also recorded as the Faragher Brothers in the 70s. They worked with producer, Vinnie Poncia, of Anders & Poncia fame.
