MGB with Weber DCOE and Long Branch Manifold

This is example of how the MGB engine with a stock camshaft may run using a Weber DCOE side draft carb. This clearly shows that this engine is not running evenly on all 4 cylinders. The Engine Analyzer is being used to kill individual cylinders at different engine speeds. At idle and intermediate speeds, the 1 and 4 cylinders are not delivering the same power as 2 and 3. Then at the higher engine speed, they get a little more even, but still not the same. Obviously this engine is not happy with this carburetor. This video is the same car with a different carb and no other changes. Weber DGV with automatic choke is the best way to go when replacing a SIngle Stromberg.
