Syrp Genie Mini II - Not For Video | Review of the Syrp Genie Mini II For Video

I recently purchased a Genie Mini II Pan/Tilt kit from B&H. After watching a ton of reviews... I felt like I could trust the product for video panning and tilting without having to worry about shakiness and jitters. I was wrong. This video goes through my process and talks a little bit about the robot I built to get the job done, and how tech tubers post incomplete reviews that don't really test the products or give valuable information to viewers who end up buying these products! After figuring out that the Syrp Genie Mini II wasn't going to be up for the task, I came across Duncan Dimanche's review of the Edelkrone HeadONE (   • Edelkrone SUCKS here is why ! (samples) He...  ), where he basically does the same kind of testing I did but presents it in a MUCH better way. It seems like "cheap" pan/tilt heads are not meant for video. I filmed this video at 2am and I was coming off of a cold. Sorry for the cracky quiet voice. Also, for those who are paying attention...
