WTXF - New Fox O&O Graphics
Fox launched new corporate local news graphics on all of its owned stations on November 13. WTXF launched their version at 5pm that day. Graphically, it's an improvement, although there are some aspects to the package that leave a lot to be desired. It's not polished on the level that NBC and CBS' corporate graphics are. Their news content, though... way more problematic. This clip features some of the limitations of the graphics and some of the "lowlights" of the news. Yes, they had no less than three segments basically regurgitating that morning's Good Day, they managed to shoehorn a Dr. Oz advertisement into the lower thirds, and yes, there were times when the graphics articulated what the anchor was about to say.
