Ricardo Moyano) --------------------------------------- About the artist: Özberk Miraç Sarıgül, named “Under 18 – Musician of the Year 2018” and “Best Guitarist in Europe (18–23),” began his studies at Bilkent University’s Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, graduating as the highest-ranking student in 2023 under Prof. Kağan Korad. He has earned more than 15 first prizes in international competitions, including José Tomás Villa de Petrer, Esteve 65th Anniversary, Gandia, Sarajevo, and Segovia, placing him among the most successful young guitarists of his generation. He has performed Rodrigo, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and Vivaldi concertos with leading Turkish orchestras and, in 2021–2022, became the first Turkish guitarist selected as a EuroStrings Artist, touring across Europe. Sarıgül has been invited to festivals such as Zagreb, Paris, Rust, Gandia, Granada, and Petrer, where he has performed, given masterclasses, and served on juries. In 2024, he premiered Cemal Reşit Rey’s Guitar Concerto, the first such concerto written in the Republic of Türkiye. His connection to Turkish folk music is reflected in Kara Toprak (arr. Ricardo Moyano), featured on his debut album Kalbimden (JSM Records, 2025). He is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Hacettepe University with Prof. Ahmet Kanneci and performs on a Manuel Adalid Catedral X Aniversario guitar. --------------------------------------- "Kara Toprak" (Arr.
