A Japanese man dubbed the 'Twitter killer' has been sentenced to death for slaying nine people in 2017. Takahiro Shiraishi found most of his victims through social media where they had expressed suicidal thoughts, before killing and dismembering them. His lawyers had argued his victims had consented to their murders, adding that any signs of struggle were simply "conditional reflexes."
